“Give Me Ideas for a Young Entrepreneur…”

Posted by Cody on Nov-20-2009

So you want to become a strong, confident and successful young entrepreneur but you’re not quite sure where to start?

Have no fear, you’re not alone. I started this website a year or so ago to connect with other young entrepreneurs and share my own experiences. I have been around small business owners since I was young. My father was involved in Network Marketing growing up (and still is to this day). I have seen a lot of success and I have seen a lot of failures in this industry.

I am convinced that Network Marketing is the best fit for the majority of young entrepreneurs out there. Does this mean that network marketing will be a fit for you? Not necessarily, we’re all different but here’s a few reasons why I favor Network Marketing over most other “traditional business ventures.”

  1. Stability: Network Marketing allows you to focus on making money rather than keeping your fledgling new business afloat.
  2. Simplicity: Getting started in most companies is quick and easy. You don’t have to worry about filling out a bunch of paper work, leasing a building, taking out a loan, wooing benefactors, etc.
  3. ROI: (Return on Investment) – most companies offer a quick return on your initial investment. If a company does not offer this I wouldn’t even consider it unless you have the money to lose. Traditional companies may take months or more likely years before you’ll see a return on your initial investments and start-up costs.

So where to begin? Do some research and find a company you like. You may want to check out an article I wrote on the retirebefore25.com blog called, “Earning Residual Income Online“. In this article I list several reputable companies that you may be interested in getting started with.

What if I want to start a “traditional” business? If you feel that your goals would be better achieved going the route of a “traditional” start-up. That is, taking out a rather large loan, raising support, starting from scratch and building an empire, I fully support you! Though this is not the path I have chosen for myself I have tremendous respect for those who choose this long and risky road. The dangers are great but the rewards are even greater with this sort of venture.

Sadly most individuals are not in a place in their own lives where this sort of transition would be feasible or even possible at all. If you’re married, with kids, maybe a mortgage and a job already you probably won’t have time to build your empire from the ground up. But I would be happy to show you a way to start building an empire on an existing foundation through Network Marketing.

If you’d like more information on my company (there is no obligation) you may visit my website or contact me via email anytime.

Cheers,
Cody

Young Entrepreneur Kit… *Brainstorm!*

Posted by Cody on Oct-22-2009

I’m looking into developing a free young entrepreneur business kit to distribute from this and my other blog, Retire Before 25. The problem is what to place in the kit…

Being a young entrepreneur means a lot of different things to a lot of different people. The young entrepreneur kit will need to be diverse and all-inclusive while still being narrow enough to distinguish itself from any other entrepreneur pack out there. What would you like to see in this kit?

Here’s what I have in mind so far.

eBooks – Specific training guides with general motivation and inspiration.

Software – I have access to a fair amount of SEO software, most of which I can give away for free.

Personal Mentoring – For those individuals who would like to begin their business with me. I’m still thinking of how this may work exactly.

So drop me a line or leave me a comment and let me know what you would like to see in this package (young entrepreneur kit).

People are saying that the deregulation of energy is going to be the “largest transfer of wealth seen in our lifetime”. Have you stopped to ask yourself what this really means?

In a nutshell, now that consumers have the right to choose who they want to buy their energy from things are going to begin to shift. Consumers will be moving away from certain companies and attaching themselves to other companies. This is where the opportunity is found. If you’re an entrepreneur marketing electricity or natural gas service you may become extremely wealthy if you can find a way to tap into this huge opportunity. Swaying customers to your company (i.e. YOU) will produce substantial residual incomes.

Do you know what residual income is? It is not imaginary or illegal as some suppose. Residual income is income that continues to trickle (or storm) in, month after month and year after year. The only way true residual income is possible is with a product that consumers either subscribe to or are nearly required to purchase every single month or year. Everyone uses electricity. See the opportunty?

When times get tough people are going to stop buying their Tahitian Noni Juice or Monavie, their vitamins and cosmetics will be one of the first things to go when they have to cut back. But who turns the lights off willingly? Electricity service is especially odd because people use it before they’ve even paid for it! Even the most flippant spenders budget for energy. It has to be paid, which means someone is getting paid – and that someone could be you.

Join our team and experience true residual income.

And of course you also need to know that we don’t just market energy. We have connections with AT&T, Sprint, Big Earth Networks, T-Mobile, etc. We have technical support programs, home warranty programs, discount health benefits, and more.

Call me today for more information. And ask how you can get started for as little a $99 bucks!

Cheers,

What Does it Mean to “Retire”?

Posted by Cody on Aug-20-2009

One day I began questioning our team name – Team Retire Before 25. “Is that really something I believe in? Do I want to advertise and promote this concept?” I asked myself.

Well, thankfully I was simultaneously reading the book, “The Total Money Makeover” by Dave Ramsey (highly recommended) and it just so happens that he mentions retirement in his book. Here’s what he says:

What Retirement Isn’t… Investing for retirement… doesn’t necessarily mean investing to quit your job. If you hate your career path, change it. You should do something with your life that lights your fire and lets you use your gifts. Retirement in America has come to mean “save enough money so I can quit the job I hate.” That is a bad life plan.” (Dave Ramsey, The Total Money Makeover og. 152)

Wow. Isn’t this what most of us picture when we hear the word, “retirement”? The word has come to mean, “Yes! I don’t have to WORK anymore.” But I agree with Dave Ramsey, that is a bad life plan. I want to work. I just want to work at something that I believe in. Dave continues with his rant on retirement:

“When I speak of retirement, I think of security. Security means choices. (That’s why I think retirement means that work is an option.) You can choose to write a book, to design churches, or to spend time with your grandkds. You need to reach the point where your money works harder than you do. … You already possess the ability to quit your job, and if you don’t like your work, you should consider doing that. If not today, develop a five year gameplan for transitioning into what God designed you to do; however, don’t wait till you’re sixty-five to do what you love.”

I’ve always clarified that Team Retire Before 25 means you “could” retire at age 25. But who really wants to?! Not me, man. Moses never retired. I am excited about what God has in store for me. Retirement means choices, and I’ll add my own thought, and, freedom. Choices & Freedom. Beautiful.

Ready for security, choices and freedom? Ready to retire earlier than most?

Drop me a line today.
